Introduction
DAC Artist Kang Donghun is a playwright who explores generational conflict and the search for coexistence in Korea’s rapidly changing society. His works focus on the solidarity of individuals beyond blood ties and the emerging forms of family and love in contemporary life. He received the 60th Dong-A Theatre Award for Playwriting with That’s All.
Dog Walker’s Love tells the story of So-young, a 40-year-old heiress who returns to Korea after the disappearance of her 95-year-old grandmother Sook-rye, and Ha-min, her young dog walker. Through the lives of Sook-rye and So-young, the play sheds light on the emptiness, unease, and ennui created by the bubble of wealth. -
